Harvey D. Moritz Harvey D. Moritz was born in 1934 in Moorestown. He was a graduate of Burlington City High School. He joined the Air Force in 1952 and served in Alaska as a radioman during the Korean Conflict. When he left the service in 1957, he married Georgeann "Georgie" Eberly and moved to Delanco. He went to work for the US Postal Service in 1958. He served in Pemberton, Riverside, Delran, then Delanco for 18 years. He was named NJ Postmaster of the Year in 1981. Harvey was recruited by the Postmaster General to come to Washington DC and serve in the national headquarters, a position he held for a year. He was elected Vice President of the National League of Postmasters. Harvey was a man of great faith, a member of Dobbins Memorial United Methodist Church, where he served on the finance committee and administrative board and was a member of the Methodist Men. He also was a former member of the Riverside, Delran and Delanco Lions Club and the United Way. Harvey was a former Coach of the Delanco Spartans Football Club. He was elected Delanco Twp. Committeeman. Harvey was a Semi-Pro Wrestler along with his late father-in-law, George Eberly. He built an outdoor ring on his property on Second Street at Orchard Avenue. Harvey died on July 24, 2014 at home at age 79. He was buried at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson with Air Force Honors. USAF, Rank? Radioman Korea, Alaska 1934 – 2014
